Maidenhead Rugby Club have announced that Distinctive Group will be the club’s new commercialisation partner, with the company having committed to a multi-year sponsorship deal.
The new deal was announced on Friday and commences ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
It builds on an existing relationship between the two parties that has seen players such as former captain Niall Crosley and winger Alex Turton sponsored by Distinctive.
Founded in 2013, Distinctive Group is an independent consultancy focused on the healthcare sector and on new pharmaceutical product launches.
It is expanding its services to offer additional agency, consulting, and contract services to broader commercial sectors, going beyond its primary business area of the healthcare industry.
In line with that, the company which aims to ‘elevate brands, people, patients, and businesses’ will hope to elevate the status of Maidenhead RFC both on and off the field through this sponsorship deal and there will be greater collaboration and involvement between the two parties in the years to come.
“From long-term fan and club volunteer roles at the club it feels right to expand and formalise our company involvement with Maidenhead Rugby Club, supporting these next years of club growth alongside them.
“We are delighted to provide support and assistance to allow the club to further its player development as well as overall club performance ambitions” said Dan Selby, managing director of Distinctive Group.
