A new golf simulator facility is set to open its doors at the Watermark development in Maidenhead town centre.
Golf Performance Studio (GPS) is co-founded by Rob Watts, an Advanced Fellow of PGA (Professional Golfers' Association) and lead men's coach for England Golf, and Aston Goulding, a lead PGA performance coach.
Mr Watts founded Knowl-Hill based golf academy Rob Watts Performance Academy in 2010, where Mr Goulding is also the lead PGA golf professional.
The academy welcomes players of all ages and abilities to its base at Castle Royle Golf & Country Club.
Work has been on-going at the unit next to A Hoppy Place in Trinity Place, and Mr Goulding has revealed that the team are aiming to open the new Maidenhead facility 'at the end of October - subject to building works'.
He said: “We are a [six] sim bay simulator facility that uses Trackman launch monitors.
“We will also have a moving putting platform.”
The venue will also feature a team of resident coaches who will be based at the facility, which will be open to the public.
“We will have memberships available but practice sessions, rounds and coaching sessions can also be available to book by non-members too,” Mr Goulding added.
